Default Release Date and Price (4 Australia)

I so hope this fool is wrong!!! Toyota Unveil The FT-86 Sportscar ? Hints At Release Date And Price | Gizmodo Australia

because $50000-$70000 is defenlty way to much for a non turbo sports car...if it was around $35000-$40000 would be great...

At that price, no one would be able to afford it. I am positive that whomever this person spoke with, the source was wrong. This has always been described as an affordable sports car. EVERY price quote up to this point has said it would begin in the low $20's. Plus, I never saw a release date.....I'm thinking this article is a complete dud.....

Remember that article was written by someone in Australia. Either way those numbers are WAY to high even converted to USD (44 to 61K as of 2-3-10). If that's the price the car won't sell.

yup that is what i was thinking aswell... why would it be over double what you guys would pay? since they wont have to convert it from right to left hand drive for us... and the aus $ is the strongest it has ever been so the pricing sounds stupid to me. he said in three years from now it be released.
